Responsibilities

• Partner with federal, state, and local law enforcement to manage investigations and prosecutions in the Eastern District of Texas.
• Advise federal agents on questions of law and Departmental policy.
• Recommend charging decisions and dispositions for assigned cases.
• Research and draft pleadings; be prepared to try cases in federal court.
• Investigate asset forfeiture related to prosecutions.
• Oversee preparation of litigation assignments for supporting staff.
