Job summary

LSSI is seeking dedicated social services professionals in Illinois to provide a continuum of casework services for child welfare, aiming for permanency for children and families. You will engage with children and families in assessment-based service plans and ensure timely reporting and collaborative care.

Role requires driving across the state, a valid IL license, and computer-proficient work with MS Office. Training is provided to grow and succeed within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related human services field is required.
• Background check clearance (criminal and CANTS) is required.
• State licensing/certification as required by Illinois DCFS.
• Certification in subregions offered within one year of position.
• Minimum of one year CWEL experience and one year at LSSI.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate a continuum of casework services to achieve permanency for children and families.
• Follow the written service plan based on integrated assessment.
• Submit reports, documentation, and billing accurately and timely.
• Participate in supervision and staffing; attend family-child team meetings.
• Coordinate with schools and health care facilities to promote child well-being.
• Complete driving duties across various hours and distances within Illinois.
• Ensure compliance with Youth in Care Sit List protocol.
• Demonstrate professional, respectful behavior toward clients and colleagues.
