Job summary

Bronson Hospital is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to help maintain cleanliness and infection control across the facility in Kalamazoo. The role involves cleaning patient rooms, public and surgical areas, stocking supplies, and ensuring safe, compliant operations on a 40-hour first-shift schedule.

Strong attention to detail, team orientation, and good communication are required. The position offers rotating weekends/holidays and a path to growth within Bronson’s hospital system.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms (both occupied and unoccupied), public areas, surgical areas, and other spaces as assigned
• Stock supplies and keep equipment clean and in working order
• Follow safety and infection control guidelines to ensure the hospital is always clean and safe
• Provide excellent service to both hospital staff and patients
• Work closely with the Environmental Services Manager to make sure all tasks are completed to the highest standards
• Follow detailed instructions and regularly check your work to meet quality standards
