Job summary

Options For Youth Public Charter Schools in California seeks a certificated educator to support English Learners and LTELs with ELPAC-based instruction across reading, writing, speaking, and listening. You will manage a caseload of 50–75 students and report progress to the regional leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience working with second language learners or in second language acquisition.
• Ability to administer and interpret ELPAC assessments and track EL progress.
• Strong commitment to equity and student success.

Responsibilities

• Identify and Instruct English Learners and LTELs with ELPAC-based instruction in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• Manage a caseload of 50–75 students with weekly interventions and progress reporting to regional leadership.
• Administer ELPAC assessments within 30 days of enrollment and develop Individualized Learning Plans for EL students.
