AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services School Special Education Teacher for a local contract position in Leawood, Kansas.

This is a 41-week, full-time in-person role with a 37.5 hour work week, Monday through Friday, for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities include supporting elementary students in low/incidence settings and collaborating with school staff to implement individualized education plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required (Master's preferred).
• Valid Kansas Teaching License with Special Education Certification.
• Low Incidence License required or High Incidence.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary students in a low/incidence or high-incidence special education classroom.
• Collaborate with general and special education staff to implement IEPs.
• Create and monitor individualized education plans and progress.
