Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for Sherwood Elementary School. This full-time, 1.0 FTE position serves students with communication disorders under the MCEA 10-month calendar.

The primary responsibilities include screening, evaluating, and providing appropriate services; collaborating with teachers and families; and participating in IEP team meetings. State licensure in Maryland is required or eligible, with ASHA CCC desirable.

Qualifications

• Master's in speech-language pathology or equivalent.
• License/eligibility in Maryland (DHMH/MSDE) required or desirable.
• Experience with IEPs and collaboration with families.
• ASHA CCC desirable or CFY eligible.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, diagnose, and remediate communication disorders in students.
• Provide services to students birth to 21 and develop goals.
• Consult with teachers and parents and participate in IEP/IFSP meetings.
