Job summary

Envision, Inc. in Farmers Branch, TX is seeking a dedicated early childhood educator to develop and implement developmentally-based instructional programs for assigned age groups in a safe learning environment.

The role requires building age-appropriate curriculum, providing daily activities, maintaining progress records, and collaborating with staff and parents to support children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development. CPR/First Aid certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of preschool or childcare experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• CDA certification or related degree preferred.
• Maintain 30 clock hours of early childhood in-service training per year.

Responsibilities

• Develop age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans.
• Plan and implement daily indoor and outdoor activities related to the curriculum.
• Interact daily with children to provide a positive learning environment.
• Model positive adult/child interactions to support development.
• Maintain progress records and monitor each child’s development.
• Assist in preparing nutritious meals and snacks per TXHSS guidelines.
• Conduct daily health checks and supervise students in various settings.
• Communicate with staff, parents, and students to ensure collaboration.
• Report concerns to the Director of Early Childhood Development Center.
• Supervise toileting and diaper changes as needed.
