Job summary

Blind Early Services TN (BEST) in the United States is seeking an Early Interventionist / Developmental Therapist. In this role, you will provide essential support to families of children with developmental concerns, assisting with education and resources tailored to each child's needs. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a relevant field and experience with young children with developmental delays. Qualifications

• Certification or degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education or relevant field.
• Experience teaching and working with young children with developmental delays and/or disabilities.
• Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a geographic caseload of children in homes or community settings.
• Assess developmental skills and provide resources to families.
• Attend IFSP and transition meetings as appropriate.

Skills

Knowledge of best practices in serving children with developmental delays

Experience providing parent education and support

Knowledge of young children with medical fragility

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Special Education
