Pediatric Therapy of Aiken – A+Kids is seeking an Early Intervention Specialist to support infants and young children birth through age 6 in natural environments across Aiken County, SC. You’ll collaborate with families to identify developmental needs and set individualized goals.

This full-time role offers flexible scheduling, travel within the county, and comprehensive benefits. You’ll work on a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based, family-centered services in homes and community

Qualifications

• A 4-year bachelor’s degree is REQUIRED for this position.
• Bachelor’s degree in one of the listed fields is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Willingness to travel throughout Aiken County and relocate to Aiken, SC if needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively with young children and families and to complete documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, screenings, and evaluations.
• Identify strengths, needs, and areas for intervention.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Provide family-centered early intervention services in natural environments.
• Coach and educate parents and caregivers on strategies they can use daily.
• Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
• Maintain documentation of visits, progress, and service plans.
• Collaborate with families, therapists, educators, and service coordinators.
• Ensure compliance with state, program, and organizational requirements.
• Engage in professional development and team initiatives.
