Job summary

Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services seeks an Early Intervention Developmental Specialist to support infants and toddlers with developmental delays. You will create Individualized Family Service Plans, coach caregivers, and deliver services in natural environments such as homes and daycares.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in special education, early childhood, social work, or related field.
• Ability to travel within Hamilton County as needed.
• Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drivers abstract, and abuser registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Performs multi-disciplinary evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility and need for ongoing services.
• Develops IFSP outcomes as part of a trans-disciplinary team, coordinating with parents and professionals.
• Delivers evidence-based early intervention services using a coaching approach in homes and daycare centers.
• Maintains records and reports and participates in ongoing professional development.
