Job summary

Watch Me Shine is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our early intervention team in Maine. The role involves overseeing student programs, treatment plans, and progress in collaboration with clinicians, teachers, and the Center Director.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, leading intakes, maintaining records, and ensuring program fidelity across classrooms. A Master’s or Maine DOE 282 certification is required, with 2–3 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or 282 Teachers Certification is required.
• Two to three years experience preferred.
• 282 teacher certification through Maine DOE is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of students to create comprehensive treatment plans and progress reports.
• Coordinate, lead, or direct intakes and team meetings.
• Maintain accurate student records and logs to ensure compliance.
• Ensure continuous communication between classrooms, teachers, and team.
• Support teachers with programming and classroom management.
• Ensure student programs are delivered in a comprehensive and individualized manner and assess progress monthly.
• Collaborate with Foundations, Inc to maintain program fidelity.
