Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Infant Toddler CDA certification is required.
• Georgia state credentials include CDS, TCC, or paraprofessional certificate or higher degree.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the Creative Curriculum in line with Department of Early Care and Learning policy.
• Observe and record developmental progress using Teaching Strategies Gold and Individual Family Service Plan.
• Prepare daily learning activities and materials for infants and toddlers for group experiences.
• Encourage children in exploration, problem solving, and social interaction.
• Provide daily written and verbal communication to parents.
• Plan and conduct home or personal visits and engage parents and community volunteers.
• Collaborate with Hub Specialists to meet the needs of all children, including those with special needs.
• Meet health and safety guidelines based on Infant/Toddler Environmental Rating Scale.
• Plan for nutritional needs supporting nursing mothers.
• Develop and execute daily lesson plans and age-appropriate activities.
• Monitor children to maintain a secure environment and uphold classroom routines.
