Qualifications

• Ability to develop and maintain an empathetic attitude toward disabled/handicapped students; willingness to learn specialized instructional/management techniques.
• Must be high school graduate or hold equivalence of a high school diploma and be willing to seek and maintain CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Maintains a pleasant and orderly classroom environment and supports instructional materials.
• Assists students in completing learning tasks and follows IEP goals.
• Leads 1:1, small group, or whole-class instruction under supervision.
• Performs clerical duties and data collection related to student progress.
• Coordinates with teachers and specialists to implement behavior and intervention plans.
• Monitors attendance, behavior, and progress; supports students with daily living activities.
