Child Development Schools is seeking a Lead Teacher to foster a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, and growth. You will guide children through meaningful experiences, inspire curiosity, and act as a trusted partner to families within a collaborative teaching team.

The role emphasizes creating a warm, safe, and engaging learning environment, planning age-appropriate activities, and maintaining thorough documentation and communication with families.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Complete 12 hours of childcare training within 30 days of hire.
• Care for children and safety-focused.
• Strong communication skills with families.
• Physical ability to work with young children.
• A degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom.
• Keep the classroom safe, organized, and compliant with licensing and ratio requirements.
• Observe and document each child's development and share progress with families.
• Build relationships with parents through daily communication and conferences.
• Complete required documentation including attendance, incident reports, and assessments.
