Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood, or related areas.
• A minimum of 1-year successful experience with young children.
• Excellent oral and written skills; computer competency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases.
• Comprehensive background check including state and FBI criminal history with fingerprinting, sex offender registry, and child abuse registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing lessons and guidance with supervisor/teacher.
• Develop materials, forms, data tracking documents, and activities.
• Help develop special education files for compliance and organize records.
• Prepare and submit reports to supervisor.
• Assist with data entry and protect student confidentiality.
• Participate in training and parent conferences; communicate with parents about child development.
• Support student well-being, health, and safety; maintain records.
