Job summary

A community support organization in New York is looking for a Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Responsibilities include ensuring individuals’ health and well-being, implementing Positive Behavior Support Plans, and participating actively in creating support goals. Qualifications

• Must have a valid CT Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
• 3-5 years of job experience preferred but willing to train.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Follow agency policies and participate in client support goals.
• Ensure health, well-being, and development of individuals served.
• Create and implement Positive Behavior Support Plans.

Skills
