Job summary

KIPP North Carolina is seeking Daily Substitutes to help keep learning on track across eight K-12 campuses in Durham, Halifax, Northampton and Mecklenburg counties. Daily substitutes are called on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Pass Criminal Background Check.
• Demonstrated commitment to closing the opportunity gap.
• Zest, grit, professionalism, and a sense of humor.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is advantageous.
• Experience in teaching in a high performing charter school and/or schools with a high population of students with free and reduced lunch.
• Fluency in Spanish is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute provided lesson plans.
