Job summary

The Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking qualified professionals for a Corrections Case Manager/Unit Supervisor role within a medium-security facility. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to offender rehabilitation and community safety.

Salary includes a $0.75 per hour medium-security differential ($1,560 annually) for all full-time positions domiciled in a medium-security institution; a 1% pay increase every two years up to 20 years.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience as a Corrections Case Manager III or Correctional Lieutenant in Missouri DOC.
• Two or more years as a Corrections Case Manager, Probation and Parole Officer, or Substance Abuse Counselor in Missouri DOC.
• Six+ years in corrections case management or adult probation/parole case management, with at least one year in an adult facility.
• Experience in juvenile/social services case management may substitute up to two years; adult facility experience required.
• Credit hours may substitute for up to four years of experience, with conditions noted.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more units with multidisciplinary staff; implement group programs and services for offenders.
• Supervise and train lower-level case management staff; provide supervision to custody staff and rehabilitation services.
• Review offender assessments, classifications, and plans; maintain offender records and related reports.
• Conduct investigations/research; prepare unit budget; request supplies and coordinate unit activities.
• Serve as duty officer during the warden's absence; ensure cleanliness and safety of assigned units.
