Qualifications

• The Clinical Counselor applies counseling interventions and psychotherapeutic techniques within the scope of applicable Business and Professions Code(s) and license.
• The role aims to improve an incarcerated individual’s mental health and preventative wellness skills.

Responsibilities

• Works in Mental Health Services under the Senior Psychologist/Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker I.
• Provides preventive counseling and outreach to incarcerated individuals, including those not in the mental health delivery system.
