Qualifications

• One year journey-level work in automotive mechanic trade.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons on automotive practices, methods, and procedures
• Guide inmates through inspection, repair, and overhaul tasks on vehicles
• Assign tasks, supervise and review completed work
• Maintain documentation of training progress, assignments, and attendance
• Issue, track, and searches to ensure tools and materials are accounted for
• Determine and request needed tools and materials for task, assignments, and work orders
