United Way NCA is seeking a mission-driven Associate Copywriter to translate community impact into clear, persuasive narratives across channels. You will craft donor-focused copy, contribute to campaigns, and support program storytelling.

You will work with Marketing & Communications, manage deadlines, and maintain consistent brand voice while collaborating with designers and program managers. This is a hybrid/local-office role with opportunities to grow.

Formación

• 1–3 years of professional copywriting or content writing experience; internships or writing for a nonprofit/advocacy organization is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Adaptable voice with ability to shift tone for different campaigns.
• Basic familiarity with CMSs and mass email platforms.
• Strong portfolio showcasing email, social, or article writing.

Responsabilidades

• Draft persuasive direct response and donor engagement copy for emails, direct mail, and campaigns.
• Create engaging digital and social media copy across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Write long- and short-form blog posts, landing pages, and website updates with basic SEO.
• Conduct interviews to develop stories showing impact of programs.
• Collaborate with fundraising and program teams to align copy with goals.
• Proofread and edit materials to meet brand standards.
• Support coordination of vendors and external partners.
• Manage the integrated editorial and marketing calendar.
