The Communications Officer will play an instrumental role in maintaining and strengthening the organization’s communications infrastructure and developing impactful communications strategies to advance our mission.

The role supports presentations, promotion, and event production. The three key areas of responsibility include organizational communications, content creation

Qualifications

• Experience developing clear, compelling communications across channels (digital, print, presentational)
• Ability to translate research and program work into accessible content
• Experience collaborating with multiple departments to align messaging

Responsibilities

• Organizational Communications and Messaging: manage e-newsletters, email marketing, and social media; support website updates.
• Content Creation and Distribution: draft and design content to amplify programs and research online, in print, and on social media.
• Internal Communications and Knowledge Sharing: support cross-department projects and facilitate information sharing across teams.
