Job summary

San Francisco University High School is seeking a part-time College Access Program Associate to support the Program and College Access Manager in developing and delivering high school programming for freshmen during the school year. The role blends in-person workshops and outreach with independent project work on resources and data tracking.

Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in and in good standing in a college or university degree program.
  • Commitment to working with youth and a passion for education.
  • Knowledge of trends in the college-going landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Commit to working through the 2026-2027 school year for an average of 15 hours per month from September through April.
  • Develop and implement the curriculum of three Saturday lessons for the 9th grade CAP cohort.
  • Instruct three two-hour Saturday sessions to a class of about 25 ninth-grade students.
  • Meet Biweekly with the PCAM.
  • Attend and support fall and spring family meetings and career exploration events.
  • Attend the CAP college visit March 6, 2027.
  • Keep regular contact with our students and families.
  • Hold office hours appointments with each 9th grade student and take detailed notes.
  • Complete Independent work as assigned (instructional training and curriculum development).
  • Support other tasks as needed
