Penn Medicine in Philadelphia seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania's Transplant Surgery Unit. You will support Registered Nurses, assist with patient care, data collection, and family communication in a high-acuity transplant setting.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required (PA)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• HS diploma or GED required; nursing students may qualify
• Nursing student BSN pathway with GPA requirements may apply

Responsibilities

• Receive shift handoff from RN and report care requirements.
• Collect and report patient data (vital signs, etc.).
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient comfort.
• Observe and report patient status changes to RN.
• Maintain infection control and safety with standard precautions.
• Document care provided and patient response.
• Participate in rounds and coordinate with care team.
