Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, part of Mission Health, seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for General Surgery MedSurg. You will lead nursing teams, coordinate patient care, and drive evidence-based practices to optimize outcomes and patient experiences.

The role emphasizes collaboration with management, staffing, staff development, and engagement in hospital initiatives to advance nursing excellence and patient safety.

Competenze

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in nursing or related field.

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit with the management team.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to create teamwork that improves outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operates nursing strategies including rounds to improve engagement.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assists with staff scheduling to meet patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and equipment management.
