Responsibilities

• Investigates allegations of child abuse or neglect.
• Protects the safety of children and provides services to help families.
• Preserves and strengthen protective capacities of parents to keep the child at home.
• Provides services to families to meet the child’s medical, educational, and physical needs.
• Completes the Child Welfare Core Academy Training Program.
