Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to child welfare
• Experience in human services preferred
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Post-hire certification requirements for social worker per CDHS regulations

Responsibilities

• Performs case management for complex problems, develops service plans and provides counseling and referrals
• Evaluates client needs, reviews records and discusses cases with supervisor
• Implements treatment plans with social services and crisis intervention
• Represents the department per city rules and regulations
• Prepares case records and reports meeting state/federal standards
• Testifies in court with written reports and recommendations
• Performs other related duties as assigned
