Qualifications

• Teaching certification OR Bachelor’s degree OR Minimum of 60 college hours.

• Punctuality and dependability.
• Flexibility in the job assignment.

Responsibilities

• Act in lieu of the regular classroom teacher as assigned by the Principal/Supervisor.
• Support substitutes to cover class duties and maintain classroom routines.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the teacher and stay on schedule.
• Maintain discipline and a safe learning environment during the day.
• Record and communicate important information to the school office.
• Leave a summary of work covered and notes for the regular teacher.
• Notify administration of serious issues and request assistance when needed.
