Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation seeks an Anesthesia Advanced Practice Provider (CRNA or AA) to join the anesthesia care team across multiple Piedmont GA locations. The provider delivers comprehensive anesthesia services under medical direction, with duties spanning surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, and therapeutic settings.

Minimum education includes CRNA or AA master’s degree, Georgia licensure or eligibility, and NBCRNA/NCCAA certification as applicable.

Qualifications

• CRNA: Graduation from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (or its predecessor).
• AA: Master’s degree in Anesthesia from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program.
• Experience at all levels encouraged; new graduates welcome.
• For CRNAs: Georgia license or eligibility and NBCRNA certification.
• For AAs: Georgia AA license or eligibility and NCCAA certification.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care as part of the anesthesia care team.
• Operate and interpret data from anesthesia equipment to support patient safety.
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff and other disciplines.
• Deliver care appropriate to patient age and developmental needs.
• Maintain infection prevention and control practices.
• Ensure timely delivery of care and efficient OR function.
