Job summary

ABA A Step At A Time Care is hiring a Behavior Technician (BT) to join our collaborative team in Suffield, CT. We offer in-home, in-school, and community-based ABA therapy with BCBA oversight and a focus on evidence-based outcomes.

The BT will deliver 1:1 ABA therapy, collect progress data, and work with families to support client success. Part-time schedules are available, with growth opportunities and paid training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior Technicians.
• Continue with professional development.
