Job summary

The Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law is seeking a Communications Multimedia Intern to support video production, editing, research, and general administrative tasks for our Multimedia team. This in-person role will be based at our New York City office and involve hands-on shooting, editing, and asset creation across Brennan Center platforms.

Ideal candidates are undergraduate students with strong research, writing, and communication skills, fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere

Qualifications

• Independent self-starters with a positive, energetic attitude.
• Excellent research, writing and communication skills; strong visual vocabulary.
• Passion for Brennan Center issues and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating video assets for Brennan Center’s digital platforms.
• Help with video shoots, set up, lighting, and sound equipment.
• Edit short-form video using Adobe Premiere Pro, research stills, motion and music.
• Provide general administrative support for Brennan Center and Brennan en Español.
• Monitor social media trends to inform the team on new developments.
• Collaborate with team members and incorporate feedback; follow production schedules.
