Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia seeks a Director of Strategy & Impact to lead local grantmaking in education, engagement and social services across the five-county region. You will guide strategic funding, oversee the annual budget, and supervise program staff to ensure high-impact results.

Reporting to the Chief Strategy & Impact Officer, you will collaborate with grantees, community partners, and committees, conduct site visits, manage reporting, and represent the department in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in program management or grantmaking.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Experience with nonprofit grant processes and reporting.
• Knowledge of Jewish community needs and philanthropy.

Responsibilities

• Define funding priorities for grant processes and outcomes.
• Oversee grant allocations and post-award compliance.
• Support committee work and prepare presentations.
• Provide grant compliance updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits and partner meetings across five-county region.
• Develop operating budgets for annual grantmaking.
• Coordinate workflows with multiple departments.
