Job summary

The William Penn Foundation seeks an evidence-driven Evaluation and Learning Officer to advance learning, improve strategies, and produce measurable community results. You will partner with program staff to design and manage research and evaluation projects, deepen understanding of key issues, and ensure evidence is accessible to staff, grantees, and the field.

You will report to the Director of Evaluation and Learning, collaborate across teams, and lead efforts for the Watershed Protection

Qualifications

• At least five years’ relevant experience including evaluation or applied research, policy analysis, and research management.
• Ability to translate findings into strategy, communicating insights to staff, grantees, and external partners.
• Experience building and refining theories of change and metrics for monitoring impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic thought partnership, data and analysis for the Watershed Protection Program.
• Oversee research and evaluation grants and contracts from design to implementation.
• Develop adaptive learning capabilities and share lessons to inform grants management.
• Support portfolio analysis and periodic strategy reviews with program staff and leadership.
• Collaborate with Communications to share learning with grantees and the field.
