Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Business, or related field within five years.
- Experience in multidisciplinary R&D environments.
- Strong written and oral English for an international scientific audience.
Responsibilities
- Perform meticulous, quantified lifecycle analysis and technoeconomic analysis with limited direction.
- Leverage primary equipment data from ORNL and partners to quantify costs and energy use.
- Disseminate findings in peer‑reviewed journals.
- Prioritize multiple projects to meet goals and deliverables.
- Report progress to staff and sponsors on project status.
- Ensure compliance with ESH&Q requirements and ORNL values.
