Job summary

Hope & Comfort in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Multimedia Storytelling & Content Producer to serve as the organization's primary visual storyteller. You will plan, capture, edit, and publish compelling visual content to support fundraising, marketing, donor stewardship, and community awareness.

The role requires independent work, ownership of the full creative process, and regular travel to document the organization's work at events and community partner locations.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in photography, videography, editing, and visual storytelling.
• Experience independently managing projects from concept through final delivery.
• Strong interviewing, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience creating and publishing content across social media platforms.
• Proficiency with professional camera equipment, lighting, audio recording, and editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or comparable tools.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the Vice President of Development.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Capture professional photography and video at events and organizational activities.
• Create engaging content for social media, website, email marketing, and fundraising campaigns.
• Conduct thoughtful interviews with volunteers, donors, staff, and community partners.
• Independently identify meaningful stories and content opportunities.
• Plan, film, edit, caption, and publish video content for various channels.
• Publish content across Hope & Comfort's social media platforms.
• Maintain an organized digital library of media assets.
• Represent Hope & Comfort professionally with volunteers, donors, and the public.
• Obtain and document all required media consents before recording or publishing content.
