Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) seeks a Research Assistant I to support research and development in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in the Immunology Section of the US Military HIV Research Program.

The role involves laboratory technical support, assisting senior staff, and contributing to a range of projects focused on antibodies to HIV and tropical diseases. Full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience performing cell culture, cellular assays and basic molecular biology techniques.
• Biochemistry workflows and flow cytometry experience are valued.
• Able to provide laboratory technical support to senior staff and assist with experiments.

Responsibilities

• Provide laboratory technical support to senior technical and professional staff.
• Perform research and/or development in collaboration with others.
• Solve less complex problems in carrying out research projects in a lab environment.
