Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking an Immunology Medical Science Liaison to advance our lupus program and immunology assets. This field-based role requires scientific, clinical, and therapeutic expertise to engage experts, identify investigators, and support internal teams with evidence-based information.

The position emphasizes collaboration, travel (50–70%), and delivering high-quality medical information across regional and national levels. Base compensation is competitive with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical/science degree required (MD/DO/PharmD/PhD/NP/PA).
• At least 2 years of Medical Science Liaison experience or related therapeutic experience.
• Knowledge of customer segments and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific content with varying audiences.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage in scientific exchange with medical and scientific experts.
• Identify pre-clinical, clinical, and post-marketing investigators.
• Provide actionable information that improves the value and appropriate use of AZ products to internal collaborators.
• Respond to customer inquiries to support appropriate use of AstraZeneca's products and services; deliver clinical data and presentations regionally and nationally.
