Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis, IN, seeks an Associate Director of Immunology Communications to lead data storytelling for the pipeline from pre-clinical through first regulatory approval. You will shape narratives, coordinate congress activities, and guide publications in collaboration with medical affairs and R&D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, science, public relations, or related field.
• 5 years of communications experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare environments.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• DATA COMMUNICATIONS AND NARRATIVE STRATEGY: Develop and lead the early, mid- and late-stage communications strategy and positioning for the immunology pipeline.
• CONGRESS STRATEGY: Follow early Congress playbooks to show up with Lilly's Immunology data where it matters.
• PUBLICATIONS STRATEGY: Align publications with communications objectives and support media engagement.
• EXECUTIVE COMMUNICATIONS AND COUNSEL: Prepare executives for media interviews and high-stakes engagements.
• MEDIA RELATIONS: Build and maintain relationships with key journalists in immunology.
• CROSS-TA AND ENTERPRISE INTEGRATION: Ensure narratives are integrated with enterprise science and portfolio teams.
• ISSUES MANAGEMENT: Develop messaging frameworks and rapid-response protocols for competitive issues.
• TEAM COLLABORATION: Lead agency partners and external resources.
