Job summary

University of Arizona invites applications for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Immunobiology. We seek investigators focusing on immune systems, microbes, and their roles in health and disease across the lifespan, with potential translational elements and strong funding goals.

Responsibilities include establishing an extramurally funded research program, teaching at graduate/medical levels, and contributing to departmental service.

Qualifications

• PhD and/or MD or equivalent degree.
• Peer-reviewed publications in nationally recognized journals across immunology, microbiology, parasitology, infectious diseases, and cancer biology.
• For Associate level or above, active extramural funding.

Responsibilities

• Establish or continue an extramurally funded research program in immunobiology.
• Develop productive interactions with biomedical investigators within the department, College of Medicine-Tucson, and University of Arizona.
• Promote interdisciplinary training by contributing to graduate and medical education.
• Provide institutional service in the Department of Immunobiology.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
