Job summary

Moderna is seeking a full-time co-op based in Cambridge, MA for January 18, 2027 to June 25, 2027, available for the entire duration. The co-op will support Immuno-Oncology research using cell and molecular biology techniques to advance mRNA-based cancer therapies.

You will learn and apply core techniques, design and analyze experiments, and present findings to program teams, with mentorship from experienced scientists.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a STEM field (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology, BioEngineering).
• Previous co-op experience is a plus.
• Technical experience in mammalian tissue culture, transfection, and protein detection methods (MSD/ELISA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply core cell and molecular biology techniques with Immuno-Oncology lab scientists.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments supporting Immuno-Oncology programs.
• Present work to program teams and participate in department meetings.
