Job summary

Kroger in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Pharmacist for a full-time, on-site role. You will dispense medications, administer immunizations, review prescriptions for accuracy, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, DEA, and all laws.

You will lead a safety-conscious team and provide exceptional customer service to every patient and staff member. Candidates must hold a PharmD or degree in Pharmacy, a valid Pharmacist license, and strong planning, attention to detail, and initiative.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Excellent Planning and Organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
• Self-motivated with Strong Initiative to achieve high standards/results.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a safe environment and ensure a positive experience for customers and staff.
• Administer immunizations to customers following Kroger protocols.
• Dispense medications to customers pursuant to prescriptions and comply with laws and policies.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed.
• Verify new medication against patient profile to prevent interactions.
• Ensure accuracy of prescriptions and supervise Pharmacy Technicians and Interns.
