DEKALB PUBLIC HEALTH seeks an Immunization Program Supervisor to provide clinical leadership for the Immunization Program, coordinating services, guiding staff, and ensuring adherence to immunization guidelines in DeKalb County, GA.

The role requires extensive nursing expertise, training capabilities, and collaboration with healthcare partners to promote vaccination access and prevent disease outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Current Georgia license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for the Immunization Program and supervise staff.
• Coordinate immunization services and provide guidance and training.
• Educate clients and caregivers about vaccines and schedules.
• Monitor vaccine inventory and ensure proper storage and handling.
• Develop plans of care based on client responses and needs.
• Collaborate with partners to improve vaccination access.
