Job summary

Vaccination UK Ltd is seeking an Immunisation Nurse to provide immunisations primarily to school-aged children in various locations. This role involves flexibility in working hours from Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 6:00pm. The successful candidate will collaborate to support the delivery of immunisation services and ensure that clinical and administrative duties are effectively carried out.

Ideal candidates must be a registered nurse or healthcare professional and possess essential skills in communication and customer service. Benefits include a 5% employer pension contribution and annual leave.

Qualifications

• Registered with NMC, GPhC, or HCPC.
• Basic Life Support certification (Desirable).
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Vaccinate 20 to 25 school children per hour.
• Ensure record keeping is up to date.
• Participate in audits and recommend improvements.

Skills

Immunisations and proof of Hepatitis B, MMR & Varicella

Effective communication

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Organisational and time-management skills

Computer literate. Basic knowledge of Excel

Education

Registered Nurse, Pharmacist or Allied Healthcare professional
