Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 3 years of immigration law experience.
• Strong Immigration Court and removal defense experience.
• Experience with family-based immigration matters.
• Excellent legal writing, advocacy, and client communication skills.
• Comfortable conducting client consultations and developing case strategy.
• Spanish bilingual is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients before the Immigration Court, including Master Calendar and Individual Hearings.
• Manage a caseload focused on family-based immigration and removal defense.
• Conduct client consultations and develop legal strategies tailored to each client's needs.
• Handle asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, waivers (I-601/I-601A), and consular processing matters.
• Prepare legal briefs, motions, and supporting documentation.
• Attend USCIS interviews and ICE appointments as needed.
• Partner with experienced paralegals who provide dedicated support with case preparation, filings, and case management reimbursement and professional development.
