Job summary

Light & Wonder is seeking an Animator to bring slot games to life, crafting eye-catching 2D/3D animations and visual effects. You’ll collaborate with a talented group of artists to storyboards, prototype, and deliver high-quality game art for cutting-edge casino experiences.

The role requires strong motion design sense, proficiency with Maya/Blender/3ds Max, After Effects, and Photoshop, plus a collaborative mindset and adaptability to AI workflows. Join a creative team shaping immersive worlds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in 2D/3D animation and/or motion graphic design.
• Gaming industry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create art/animation that tells a story with meaning through movement.
• Work with the Art Director and team to storyboard, prototype and create high-quality final game art/animations in a timely manner.
• Provide creative solutions to artistic and technical problems.
• Support engineering by updating artwork to meet technical requirements.
• Create and animate unique emotive characters and immersive worlds.
• Communicate game direction through storyboards and animatics.
• Work quickly and efficiently as part of a team and take direction under pressure.
• All other duties as assigned
