Job summary

Grand Canyon University in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Immersive Simulation Technician for the College of Nursing. The role supports immersive simulation operations, maintains equipment, and assists faculty and learners in simulation labs.

Responsibilities include equipment prep, inventory management, and aiding in scenario development to enhance hands-on learning for nursing students. Some weekend/evening coverage may be required as part of this onsite position.

Qualifications

• Must have granted diploma or certification relative to background experience.
• Two+ years of patient care experience in clinical healthcare setting.
• Unencumbered FL LPN or RN licensure; FL certification helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical operational support for immersive simulation systems and equipment.
• Assist learners and faculty with simulation experiences and lab prep.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; assist with props placement and moulage setup.
