Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation in Oklahoma City is seeking a fearless Scare-Actor to create terrifying, immersive experiences for guests. You will perform in areas with dark rooms, loud music, fog, and animatronics, consistently remaining in character while engaging audiences.

Responsibilities include following training guidelines, coordinating with Supervisors during emergencies, ensuring guest safety, and maintaining costumes and makeup throughout long shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: 16.
• Must be available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 4pm to park close.
• Wear costumes, stage makeup and/or prosthetics for long periods.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude.
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others.
• Must be able to energetically interact with guests for the full length of shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform to scare and interact with guests in the assigned area.
• Work in areas with dark rooms, loud music, fog, strobe lights, and animatronics.
• Stay in character at all times while guest facing.
• Follow training guidelines and cooperate with Supervisors during emergencies.
• Guard guest safety, answer questions, and guide guests as needed.
• Maintain general housekeeping of haunted houses and backstage areas.
• Protect your costume, makeup, and prosthetics from damage.
