Job summary

Vox Media is seeking an Experiential Design Lead to oversee the visual identity of live events, activations, and editorial franchises across spatial experiences and graphic design. You will translate brands and editorial voice into physical environments and develop graphics systems spanning spaces, signage, print, and digital integrations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in art direction, experiential design, environmental design, or related creative discipline within agencies, brands, media companies, or live events.
• Portfolio demonstrating excellence across both spatial/environmental design and graphic/print design with integrated brand experiences.
• Strong understanding of environmental graphics, signage, print production, typography, layout, and branded physical experiences.
• Experience coordinating with fabrication vendors, printers, production partners and collaborators to bring concepts to life.

Responsibilities

• Lead creative direction across editorial tentpoles, recurring franchises, subscriber experiences, and events, building cohesive spatial and graphic design systems from concept to execution.
• Translate briefs into immersive environments balancing environmental design, branded moments, print collateral, signage, wayfinding, stage design, and digital-physical integrations.
• Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and production to extend brand identity into spaces while maintaining strong visual storytelling across guest touchpoints.
• Interpret sponsor/partner brand identities to create integrated experiences that meet client objectives while preserving brand integrity.
