Job summary

Heritage Exposition Services is seeking an Environmental Design Associate to design and manage exhibit projects for trade shows and events. You will develop immersive branded environments and oversee concepts through execution, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, guiding projects from initiation to completion, and creating precise technical documentation and floor plans compliant with specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with 2D technical drawing and/or 3D design.
• Ability to understand space planning and visualize/design concepts both written and verbal.
• Ability to learn and integrate modular building systems into designs.
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD (required).
• Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop & Illustrator required; InDesign preferred.
• Strong multitasking ability and teamwork.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
• Ability to adjust designs based on client and internal feedback.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit & Environmental Design - design and detail association and exhibit projects for trade shows and events.
• Project Management & Execution - manage projects from initiation to completion within budget and deadlines.
• Technical Documentation & Compliance - prepare drawings from 3D concepts including floor plans.
• Collaboration & Communication - work with clients and internal teams, provide updates in meetings.
• Quality Control & Design Standards - ensure designs meet standards and processes.
• Industry Awareness & Innovation - stay current with trends to deliver innovative solutions.
