Job summary

Lebanon School District R3 District Wide in Lebanon, Missouri is seeking a Substitute School Nurse (RN/LPN) to provide nursing care to students and staff in the school setting.

Under supervision of the Building Principal and Director of Health Services, perform health assessments, administer medications, deliver first aid, and provide health education while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with state laws.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Missouri RN or LPN license.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care, health assessments, first aid, and emergency care.
• Conduct school health screenings and physical assessments as needed.
• Administer medications per health policies and document compliance.
• Develop and deliver health education to students, staff and parents.
• Maintain immunization records in compliance with state regulations.
• Document all health encounters and coordinate follow-up or referrals.
